Blackburn Casts Her Ballot, Encourages Tennesseans to Head to the Polls
Tennessee Today

Republican gubernatorial nominee Marsha Blackburn cast her ballot on the first day of early voting, joined by a large group of enthusiastic supporters and several Williamson County-based leaders, including Senate Majority Leader Jack Johnson.

After casting her ballot, Blackburn addressed her supporters and answered press questions. Above all, Blackburn encouraged Tennesseans to head to the polls.

While much of the morning’s excitement centered around the Brentwood Library polling location, early voting is now in full swing all across Tennessee.

Republicans are working to mobilize their voters, reminding Tennesseans that although Tennessee is a red state, every vote is needed to “build the red wall.” President Trump also visited the state this past weekend, rallying his base to head to the polls.

Early voting extends through Thursday, October 29th and Election Day is on Tuesday, November 3. Tennessee voters can find information about polling locations and hours at GoVoteTN.gov.
