As the August 6th Primary Approaches, Marsha Blackburn Holds Commanding Lead and Key Endorsements

As early voting continues across the Volunteer State, U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn is maintaining a commanding lead in her historic bid to become Tennessee’s first female governor.

With the August 6th primary rapidly approaching, recent polling shows Blackburn firmly in the lead, holding a double-digit lead over her closest challenger. 

Blackburn’s momentum is further bolstered by a strong fundraising advantage. Recent finance reports show Blackburn with $6 million in cash on hand, while her primary opponent, John Rose, relies heavily on $5 million in personal loans to stay competitive.

In the final stretch of the primary, Blackburn has secured a series of high-profile endorsements, including U.S. Senator Bill Hagerty, the National Rifle Association, and the Tennessee Fraternal Order of Police. These groups have cited her alignment with President Trump’s “America First” agenda and various other conservative stances as the reasons for their endorsements.

With just a week remaining until Election Day, Blackburn continues to hold her spot as the clear frontrunner.

Early voting, which kicked off on July 17 and runs through August 1, has already seen significant participation, with 452,462 voters casting their ballots statewide, as of this morning. Election Day will take place on August 6th.
