Marsha Blackburn Maintains Strong Lead in New Poll Regarding Governor’s Race
Tennessee Today
In a recent poll released by Tennesseans for Student Success (TSS), Marsha Blackburn came in as the clear front runner among Republicans in the governor’s race at 61% on the ballot, holding a 52.5-point lead over John Rose and a 55.5-point lead over Monty Fritts.
This falls into a larger pattern of decisive results seen across various polls since the launch of her campaign. All three of the Beacon Center’s most recent polls, spanning back to August 2025, have shown Blackburn winning over half of the vote. Their most recent poll, taken this January, showed Blackburn with a 47-point lead over Rose and a 49-point lead over Fritts.

In response to the TSS poll, Blackburn wrote on Facebook “I’m deeply honored by the trust Tennesseans are placing in me to serve as the next Governor of Tennessee. Our mission to make Tennessee America’s conservative leader isn’t about one person; it’s about all of us working together to ensure a stronger future for the next generation.”
Blackburn’s campaign treasurer, Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs, also commented on the results of the recent poll, stating, “This poll confirms the momentum we feel on the ground: Tennesseans are coming together in support of Marsha Blackburn’s campaign to make Tennessee America’s conservative leader. We are not taking anything for granted, and Marsha will continue to fight to earn the support of Tennesseans from Memphis to Mountain City and everywhere in between. Join us on Team Marsha.”
Various state legislatures took to social media to express their excitement about the poll, as well, including Senator Jack Johnson, who wrote “Marsha Blackburn with incredible numbers AGAIN in the most recent poll from The Tennessee Firefly!”, and Representative Johnny Garrett, who stated, “The momentum isn’t slowing down anytime soon for our next governor.”
